Potter Art Metal Studios recieves citation from Texas Society of Architects

Potter Art Metal Studios’ work decorates some of the loveliest homes and most famous landmarks in East Dallas. The 90-year-old company started in East Dallas, and has since moved to theDallas Design District.
Architects known for their Lakewood homes — Charles Dilbeck and Clifford Hutsell — commissioned potter to design metal stair railings, light fixtures and gates. Potter also designed the light fixtures at White Rock Lake and Fair Park.
The company, which is run by a third generation of the Potter family, recieved a Citation of Honor-Artisan Award from the Texas Society of Architects. The award recognizes Potter’s dedication to architects and architecture and enhancement of the quality of life in Texas.
